{"id":4720,"global_id":"dev.eencyprus.org.cy\/en\/?id=4720","global_id_lineage":["dev.eencyprus.org.cy\/en\/?id=4720"],"author":"9","status":"publish","date":"2024-04-18 11:24:02","date_utc":"2024-04-18 08:24:02","modified":"2024-04-18 11:24:17","modified_utc":"2024-04-18 08:24:17","url":"https:\/\/dev.eencyprus.org.cy\/en\/event\/announcement-and-presentation-of-new-entrepreneurship-support-plan-2nd-call-for-proposals\/","rest_url":"https:\/\/dev.eencyprus.org.cy\/en\/wp-json\/tribe\/events\/v1\/events\/4720","title":"Announcement and Presentation of New Entrepreneurship Support Plan &#8211; 2nd Call for Proposals","description":"<p>We would like to inform you that the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the\u00a0Cyprus Youth Organization (CYYO), has announced the 2nd Call for Proposals for the New Entrepreneurship\u00a0Support Plan.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the project is to develop, support and promote entrepreneurship by focusing on specific\u00a0population groups such as young people and women who wish to engage in entrepreneurship in any\u00a0economic activity, except those listed in Annex I of the Plan Guide, by making use of their knowledge, experience, training and talents.<\/p>\n<p>Beneficiaries:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Young men and women who have been legally resident in areas under the exclusive control of the Republic of Cyprus for the last six months and have free access to work.<\/li>\n<li>Unemployed or employed<\/li>\n<li>Young men and women aged 18-29, men 30-50 and women 30-55<\/li>\n<li>They have not been engaged in business activity in the last six months prior to their application, i.e. not self-employed or with more than 25% participation in an active business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The<\/strong> <strong>sponsorship<\/strong> <strong>a<\/strong><strong>mount<\/strong> <strong>is<\/strong> <strong>70%<\/strong> <strong>f<\/strong><strong>or<\/strong> <strong>young<\/strong> <strong>people<\/strong> <strong>aged<\/strong> <strong>18-29<\/strong> <strong>a<\/strong><strong>nd<\/strong> <strong>60%<\/strong> <strong>for<\/strong> <strong>men<\/strong> <strong>aged<\/strong> <strong>30-50\u00a0<\/strong><strong>and<\/strong> <strong>w<\/strong><strong>omen<\/strong> <strong>a<\/strong><strong>ged<\/strong> <strong>30-55.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The sponsorship is calculated on the cost of the eligible investment costs (Equipment, Special Facilities,\u00a0Buildings &#8211; purchase, construction, renovation\/remodelling, Promotion) with a maximum eligible budget perenterprise of \u20ac120,000 for activities related to manufacturing, services and tourism.<\/p>\n<p>The total budget allocated for the needs of the Plan is \u20ac20 million and may be modified.<\/p>\n<p>Interested parties can obtain the Guide to the Plan, which contains all the details, the Model Application<\/p>\n<p>Form and other required forms, from the website of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry <a href=\"https:\/\/www.industry.gov.cy\/gr\/%CF%83%CF%87%CE%AD%CE%B4%CE%B9%CE%B1-%CF%87%CE%BF%CF%81%CE%B7%CE%B3%CE%B9%CF%8E%CE%BD\/%CE%BD%CE%AD%CE%B1-%CE%B5%CF%80%CE%B9%CF%87%CE%B5%CE%B9%CF%81%CE%B7%CE%BC%CE%B1%CF%84%CE%B9%CE%BA%CE%AE-%CE%B4%CF%81%CE%B1%CF%83%CF%84%CE%B7%CF%81%CE%B9%CF%8C%CF%84%CE%B7%CF%84%CE%B1\/%CF%83%CF%87%CE%AD%CE%B4%CE%B9%CE%BF-%CE%B5%CE%BD%CE%AF%CF%83%CF%87%CF%85%CF%83%CE%B7%CF%82-%CE%BD%CE%AD%CE%B1%CF%82-%CE%B5%CF%80%CE%B9%CF%87%CE%B5%CE%B9%CF%81%CE%B7%CE%BC%CE%B1%CF%84%CE%B9%CE%BA%CE%AE%CF%82-%CE%B4%CF%81%CE%B1%CF%83%CF%84%CE%B7%CF%81%CE%B9%CF%8C%CF%84%CE%B7%CF%84%CE%B1%CF%82-%E2%80%93-2%CE%B7-%CF%80%CF%81%CE%BF%CE%BA%CE%AE%CF%81%CF%85%CE%BE%CE%B7\">HERE.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>For more information, those interested can contact the competent Ministry officials at 22867178\/156\/194\u00a0and the Youth Officer, Anna Loizou, at 22402615.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>The<\/u><\/strong><strong><u> date of application will be announced at a later stage.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CCCI, as the Coordinator of the EEN Cyprus, will organise a two-hour event on <strong>14 May 2024, at 16:30,\u00a0<\/strong>at the Limassol Chamber of Commerce, in order to present the Plan in detail and answer any questions.
